A university student in Texas survives with minor injuries after being hit by a bus.
A video posted on YouTube shows the moment the student, named in the video as Nick, steps out in front of a bus on the campus of the University of Texas.
A crowd of students standing nearby let out gasps of shock as the bus crashes into the student sending him sprawling onto the ground.
Comments posted on YouTube suggest that the driver of the bus may have driven through a red light before hitting the student.
In the video the student seems none the worse for being hit by a bus as he gets up and dusts himself off.
Youtube user SpacecowBand claims to be a friend of the student and posted this message: “I'm one of Nick's best friends, he's perfectly fine. Damn bus driver ran a red light and hit him. Other people were trying to cross as well, Nick just happened to be the unlucky one.”
