2 Fullerton Californian Police Officers Charged with murder and manslaughter in Kelly Thomas Beating Case

many of us in Californi were in shock when this Happened. It was such a savage beating. I know there are incredible and awsome Officers protecting us..but then there are the few who  destroy the public trust. this kid was homeless.. Shirtless and had no weapons..He pleaded for the officers to stop. nthey continued to beat him to a pulp.

FULLERTON, Calif. (KTLA) -- Two Fullerton Police officers have been charged in connection with the violent confrontation that led to the death of mentally ill homeless man, Kelly Thomas, the Orange County District Attorney announced on Wednesday.

District Attorney Tony Rackauckas announced at a news conference that he's charging Officer Manny Ramos with one felony count of second-degree murder and one felony count of involuntary manslaughter. He faces a maximum of 15 years in prison if convicted.

Officer Jay Cicinelli is being charged with one felony count of involuntary manslaughter and one felony count of use of excessive force, Rackauckas said. Cicinelli faces a maximum of 4 years in prison if convicted.
