NFL will not take any action on Tank Carder for anti-gay ‘faggot’ tweet…

The NFL plans to take NO action on Cleveland Browns linebacker Tank Garder on his anti-gay tweets in which he stated that he does not agree with being gay.
According to Outsports:
The NFL told Outsports it will take no action regarding the anti-gay tweets of Cleveland Browns rookie linebacker Tank Carder, whose “faggot” and “I don’t agree with being gay” messages were followed in the last week with dismissive attacks on those where were offended. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told Outsports via email:
We were in contact with the club and the club addressed it with the player.
Divisive comments of that nature can only be hurtful to many fans and has no place in the NFL. The Browns made clear to the player that it was unacceptable and he issued a public apology.
Now, as we all know, if Carder made racial slurs or any kinda of anti-religious comment, there would be a press conference with a public apology and most likely fines and a suspension. This lack of punishment/action from the NFL sends a  bad message to children as well as adults and not to mention the low regard in which they still hold the LGBT community. It is quit disgusting on their part.
