Obama Procliams Gay Pride Month and Whitehouse rolls Out Website for Winning Gay Rights

In 2009, Obama started declaring June Gay Pride Month. And every June, the White House issues a statement in advance of Gay Pride Month, declaring LGBT rights to be human rights and recapping President Obama's efforts at advancing equality here and abroad. And Obama has had several  "gay parties"  at the White House, inviting LGBTQ VIPs from around the country.

COME ON, NO OTHER PRESIDENT HAS DONE THAT.  I hate these glass is half empty queens , who keep throwing stones, saying he hasn't done enough. At least he is doing something!

And now, the White House has launched a mini site dedicated to highlighting President Obama's relationship and accomplishments related to the LGBT community.
Wrote Brian Bond, Deputy Director in the White House Office of Public Engagement, in an email:
In honor of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) History Month, The White House launched our first ever LGBT specific constituency webpage: WHgov/lgbt . This webpage is designed to keep you updated on how the President and the Administration are Winning the Future for LGBT Americans.

Please take a look at our Winning the Future for LGBT Americans factsheet
and sign up for our e-mail updates  that will keep you up to speed with what is going on in the Administration. We encourage you to spread the word about this site to your friends, families, and the communities you work with.

So TAKE THAT George Bush!
