"Lady Gaga has just announced that an exclusive clip from the upcoming Born This Way episode of Glee will be released Friday, April 22 at 1pm PT/4pm ET via the Lady Gaga Facebook page.
The episode 'teaches the glee club a valuable lesson about self-acceptance' says a Fox news release 'and embracing what makes you unique through the music of Lady Gaga.'
Although an extra 30 minutes is being added to the episode 'this will not be just a regular tribute' says Michael Ausiello of TVLine 'the episode’s theme of self-acceptance was inspired by the singer’s runaway hit “Born this Way' - In fact, the title of the episode is “Born This Way” and it concludes with a rousing performance of the No. 1 smash.'
The timing of this episode coincides with an exchange between Lady Gaga and an anti-gay protester outside one of her recent shows where she was chastised by the activist for 'all that homo stuff.'
Lady Gaga replied that 'We really believe in God at my show. Don't you think it's hurtful (your message) ... I went to Catholic school for 13 years.'"
