Glenn Beck has been dropping hints about moving to the Lone Star state for months and dropped a particularly big one last week when real estate blogsreported that he’d bought a nearly $4 million spread in Westlake, on the outskirts of Dallas.

But now it’s official. Beck told his radio listeners today that he’s moving to Texas and opening up a new radio and television broadcast facility in Dallas.
“I can’t wait,” he said, according to The Blaze.

Chris Balfe, president and COO of Beck’s Mercury Radio Arts, said the new studios will be in addition to the ones that Mercury will continue to run in Manhattan and that Beck’s latest venture, GBTV, will be produced from multiple locations.
“Mercury is very excited to open a new radio and TV broadcast facility in Dallas, Texas," he told The Blaze. "While Glenn will be spending much of his time there, we will continue to maintain and grow our New York City offices and studios to accommodate the talented staff we have assembled and will continue to assemble here.”
