Bethenny Frankel Reportedly Says ‘Bethenny Ever After’ Is Dunzo!

Bravo TV star Bethenny Frankel and family are currently filming the third season of her Real Housewives of NYC spin-off reality TV series Bethenny Ever After but according to US Weekly magazine, the upcoming third season of the show will be the last. US Weekly reports that Bethenny is telling people that Bethenny Ever Afterwill be dunzo after this upcoming third season because she wants to focus on other business ventures. Bravo is downplaying this report but it kinda sounds like we’ll be saying Peace the Spork Out to Bethenny Ever After.

Bethenny no longer. A source tells Us Weekly that Bethenny Frankel has decided not to continue her Bravo reality show Bethenny Ever After after season three. According to the source, the former Real Housewife of New York “is going to concentrate on her many business ventures.” “The door is open for other projects with Bravo,” adds the source. “But as far as Bethenny Ever After goes, she feels that ending the show on a high note and ending it after this season would be best for her family. She doesn’t want her [20-month-old] daughter [Bryn] to grow up on TV.” The source adds that the 41-year-old health and fitness guru “loves working with Bravo” and “will probably continue to work with Bravo in some way..” Bravo told Us: “They haven’t even finished shooting this season so no decision has been made about another one yet.”
As much as I love watching Bethenny on TV and as much as I really enjoy her show Bethenny Ever After, I fully support this decision (if true) to end the show on a high note. Bethenny is a brilliantly intelligent business woman. She is really good at looking at the overall big picture and, IMHO, she has excellent judgment. 3 seasons seems perfect for a reality TV series (especially a spin-off reality TV series). If you look at, say, Jill Zarin on The Real Housewives of NYC … if she had her way, she’d be on the show forever. Instead, she stayed on the show long enough for her to wear out her welcome and let Bravo fire her and give her the very embarrassing boot.Bethenny doesn’t want that for herself, so her decision (again, if true) to end the series on a high note, on her own terms is just smart business. Let’s be real here, Bethenny made a LOT of money from her Skinny Girl line of drinks … she doesn’t need reality TV anymore … but she knows that she can work with Bravo again in the future if she wants to. Brilliant! Bethenny is just brills … and that is why she is so successful and, yes, lovable.
