Lindsay Lohan Sentenced To 30 Days In Jail For Probation Violation

PLUS, She Gets Slapped With A LOT of New Probation Requirements
A couple of weeks ago, Lindsay Lohan appeared in court to answer claims that she was in violation of satisfying her court-ordered probation requirements and at the time the ruling judge found enough proof that she was, indeed, in violation of her probation terms … resulting in another arrest and court date for trainwreck Lindsay. Today,Lindsay showed up for that court date in order to throw herself at the mercy of the court. She admitted that she violated probation in order to find out her new punishment. Judge Stephanie Sautner sentenced her to 30 days in jail (NO house arrest) and laid down a series of court-ordered community service hours and therapy sessions. It’s a laundry list of requirements that MUST be satisfied to the letter … if she messes up just once, she will be sent immediately to jail. Will Lindsay FINALLY be able to do the right thing and serve out her punishment to the court’s satisfaction? I guess we shall see. Click below for all the deets about what went down in court this morning.
Lindsay Lohan will serve 30 days in jail, and the judge is holding her on a tight leash to make sure she completes her probation. Lindsay admitted she violated her probation by not attending therapy sessions as required by the court and by getting kicked out of the Downtown Women’s Center. The judge now says ALL of Lindsay’s community service must now be served at the L.A. County Morgue. And the judge gave Lindsay a tight structure on how she must complete the rest of her probation, and if she doesn’t the judge will put a warrant out for her arrest and sentence her to an additional 270 days in jail. As for the 30 days Lindsay is getting now — the judge made it clear … NO HOUSE ARREST. The Sheriff’s Dept. tells us Lindsay will serve 20% of the 30 days — 6 days in jail. Judge Stephanie Sautner gave Lindsay a strict schedule on completing the rest of her probation — by December 14, she must have completed 12 days at the morgue and 4 psychotherapy sessions. By January 17, another 12 days at morgue and 4 psychotherapy sessions. And so on. Everything must be completed by March 29 — or she goes directly to jail for 270 days. The judge clearly thinks Lindsay needs a rigid structure to complete her sentence, and as the judge put it, Lindsay is holding the keys to the jail cell. And the judge strongly suggested Lindsay stop tweeting about her experiences at the morgue. At the end, Lindsay seemed happy, walking out of court saying, “Thank God,” under her breath. Sources in the courtroom tell us that when the judge got off the bench she remarked about Lindsay, “She looks good today.”

SO … after Lindsay serves her 6 days in jail (which will very likely turn out to be 6 minutes), she will be on a strict regimen of community service hours and therapy sessions from month to month to month all the way up to next March. She now has the chance to complete all the hours required of her and finally be done with THIS punishment. She’ll be doing all of her community service hours at the LA County Morgue because the women’s shelter she was assigned to before doesn’t want her back. I’d like to believe that she is capable of following the judge’s orders and satisfy her probation requirements but … yeah, it seems unlikely. On the positive side,Lindsay did look better today so if this is the first day of a fresh new outlook on her life, she has a chance of saving herself. I remain skeptical but, as always, hope springs eternal. Lindsay has to turn herself in to jail next week (TMZ reports the judge gave her a week to turn herself in so she can finish her Playboy magazine shoot), serve out her sentence (about 6 minutes) and then get to work on serving out her punishment. Can she do it? We shall see.
Thoughts?
