OMG, laser removal to follow: JLo's bf tattooed her name onto his peen

tumblr_m1v67bp4Af1qi7ua6.jpg
If -- and that's a big if -- Casper Smart has indeed tattooed girlfriend Jennifer Lopez's name onto his peen, then what do you think his explanation will be once JLo's done playing with this rebound? According to a "friend" who spoke with In Touch Weekly, "Jennifer thinks Casper's tattoos are sexy, but this one is her favorite, for obvious reasons." And, for reasons that are hopefully not just obvious to me, that's really creepy.

First Listen: Paris Hilton Drops A New Song Called ‘Louder’

Back in January we were reminded of Paris Hilton‘s intention to curse/bless us with a new “house music”-inspired album and in February, we got our first listen of her new stuff. As you may recall, Paris quietly released/leaked a song and video called Drunk Text. While others truly hated the song, I thought it was ridiculously entertaining in a it’s-so-bad-you-can’t-help-but-laugh-and-have-fun-with-it sort of way. Today we get to hear another offering of new music from Hilton. Click below to get your FIRST LISTEN of a new Paris Hilton song called Louder. The track samples Journey and features Flo Rida on guest vocals. Take a listen, will you?

Paris Hilton has sampled Journey’s much-covered standard ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ on her comeback single ‘Louder’. The track, which features a contribution from rent-a-verse rapper Flo Rida and has been produced by persistent chart botherer David Guetta, is officially labeled as a demo, but is suitably slathered with auto-tune. ‘Louder’ is the second of Hilton’s tracks to emerge online recently and cannot fail to have a better reception than her previous effort. Her recent track ‘Drunk Text’, which she made with producers Manufactured Superstars, was removed from YouTube after being panned by bloggers and critics. The heiress is currently said to be working with Snoop Dogg and LMFAO on a new album, which is the follow-up to her 2006 debut dance-pop solo album ‘Paris’. Hilton has turned to music after her last reality TV venture The World According To Paris was cancelled after just one series.

Dear gods, what is wrong with me?! I don’t hate this track!! I mean, it’s terrible — no question — but it’s terrible in a fun way. I think maybe my expectations are so low that I’m pretty much charmed by anything Paris Hiltondoes these days. Because she is no longer a celebrity that anyone gives a passing thought to, I think she is really working hard in the hopes of getting back some of the attention that she lost. At this point, Paris Hiltonand her new album is a novelty to me. I can appreciate the kitsch factor. What do y’all think of this new song? Do you dig it?

Kelly Clarkson in Stilettos? ‘It’s Not Going to Happen’

“Fashion over function” is not a mantra Kelly Clarkson lives by.

“I think you should be comfortable,” the original American Idol told reporters while doing press for her new ABC singing competition, Duets, in Los Angeles last week.
“This is such a funny industry. Sometimes I turn on awards shows and pop stars are wearing alien costumes,” Clarkson said of the outlandish fashions in the music industry. “I’m like, ‘That’s cool for you but ain’t no way in hell someone is going to convince me to wear that on stage.’”

The “What Doesn’t Kill You (Stronger)” singer believes the music industry puts too much pressure on artists to conform.

“Not only can the music be formulaic, but the attire can be formulaic,” she said. “Just like music, with style there is room for everything and it might not be everyone’s cup of tea but it is that person’s thing.”

Now Clarkson is imparting her fashion advice on her Duets contestant, Jordan Meredith.

“I need [Jordan] to be comfortable on stage and people are pushing her to wear something else and that is not our focus,” said Clarkson, who will mentor and sing with Meredith and one other contestant during the show’s premiere season. “Especially in a competition you need to be comfortable and confident.”

And for Clarkson, comfort begins with footwear.

“I don’t want to wear no stiletto,” she said, gesturing to her open-toed shoes with thick heels. “I am not a model and I am not BeyoncĂ©. It is not going to happen.”

Picking Up John Waters

Screen Shot 2012-05-26 at 2.43.21 AM copyAn advisory from the New York Times:
An advisory to readers who may be driving on this Memorial Day weekend: If, as you travel the nation’s highways, you spot a hitchhiker with a wiry build, a pencil mustache and a mischievous look in his eyes, you may not wish to pick up this person. Unless, of course, you are certain it is the cult filmmaker John Waters, thumbing his way across the country in search of material for a new book.
You probably won't actually run into Waters this weekend; he's apparently completed his trans-national trek and is resting somewhere in SanFran. He was on the road for eight days, and snagged 15 rides.
Rumors that Waters was thumbing first surfaced when Brooklyn rock band Here We Go Magic picked up the ateur on May 16th, somewhere in Ohio. The band reported their bizarre highway discovery to Twitter, and the internet -- at least, the parts of the internet where people who dig Pink Flamingoes and Pecker hang out -- freaked out. (See the illustration at right, by Floridian artist Joy Schilt, who drew it within 24 hours of Here We Go Magic's first tweetings.)
From the Times:
[Here We Go Magic's] members could not quite believe that they spotted him by an exit ramp.“Half of us thought that he wasn’t John Waters, because that would be impossible, and half of us thought that he was,” said Michael Bloch, a guitarist for the band. “So we argued about it for one exit, and the only way to resolve it was to just turn around and go back.”
Though Mr. Waters jokingly compared the band to the Manson family, Mr. Bloch said they found him an enjoyable travel companion before dropping him off in Indiana.
“Just giving himself up to the winds is something that he really wants every once in a while,” Mr. Bloch said. “We all found that really inspiring and really eye-opening.”
Waters was hitching to research his upcoming book, tentatively titled Carsick. He says he was picked up by "cops, pot smokers, everybody," and that the experience was generally awesome. Including his two rides with a Republican city councilman from Maryland named Brett Bidle, who was headed to Montana to assist with Tornado relief. Bidle picked up Waters in Maryland, dropped him off in Ohio, presumably got some sleep, andthen:
“I drove for 22 straight hours with no sleep, whether that was a smart thing to do or not,” Mr. Bidle said on Friday, speaking by phone from Wichita, Kan. “I was on a mission to find John Waters again.”
Mr. Waters also made arrangements for Mr. Bidle to stay at his apartment in San Francisco, where Mr. Waters arrived on Tuesday after four more hitchhiked rides.
“I thought, you know what, he wanted an adventure, too,” Mr. Waters said of Mr. Bidle. “He’s the first Republican I’d ever vote for.”
Mr. Bidle said of Mr. Waters: “We are polar opposites when it comes to our politics, religious beliefs. But that’s what I loved about the whole trip. It was two people able to agree to disagree and still move on and have a great time. I think that’s what America’s all about.”
Exactly what Waters was looking for on America's highways is unclear, but it seems to have had something to do with shearing himself of celebrity, and seeing the country from beyond the reality warp created by waking up every day as one of the world's five or ten most famous living film pioneers:
“There’s not an airport in the world I’m not recognized in,” [Waters] said. “But who thinks it’s you on the side of the street?”
About a third of the people who picked him up, Mr. Waters said, had no idea who he was and another third were convinced by his explanations (or by a Google search) that he was a personality of some renown.
And all his other benefactors, Mr. Waters admitted, had him made right away. “My mustache got me a third of the rides,” he said. “I had it working.”
(Incidentally, I'm flying to Florida to introduce Waters at Fort Lauderdale's Parker Playhouse when he swings through town with his one-man show, This Filthy World, on July 28th. If you're in SoFla, check it out.)

Reese Witherspoon Shows Off Her Baby Bump At The Cannes Film Festival

Last month Reese Witherspoon showed off her burgeoning baby bump at the beach, earlier this month she bared her bump on the tennis court. Today we see new photos of Reese at the Cannes International Film Festival and without a doubt she is bumping out like crazyReese attended a photocall event for her new filmMud and as you can see below, she had baby bump happily in tow.

She endured a 14-hour flight from Los Angeles, but you’d never know it when a pregnant Reese Witherspoon showed up at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday in a form-fitting black jersey dress that showed off her bump. Witherspoon, who also wore dangling diamond earrings and sky-high fuchsia stilettos, flew to Cannes with her husband Jim Toth to promote her new movie, Mud, which premieres Saturday at the festival. The actress’s presence at Cannes while pregnant was all the more surprising given what a small role she has in Mud … Witherspoon said Saturday at a press conference that she was drawn to the script because it reminded her of her own childhood in Tennessee. “I grew up with my brother in a creek, riding dirt bikes, dirt fishing, everything you see the boys in the movie doing,” she said. “When I read Jeff’s script, it felt like home. It’s a beautiful story about the place I’m from.” But she hesitated before taking the part because she didn’t want to overshadow the rest of the cast or the movie itself. “I like supporting roles but you have to be careful because [big stars] sometimes pull the focus away from the rest of the movie,” she said. “But Jeff assured me it was an ensemble movie – and it was.”

Altho Reese has yet to formally announce her pregnancy, yeah, I think we’ve known for weeks now that homegirl is preg-nant. She looks glorious. I mean, Reese and that killer smile of hers is always radiant but now that she is with child, well, I think she looks even more gorgeous. I’m excited for baby #3. This child will be the first forReese and new hubby Jim Toth and I bet they couldn’t be happier about their forthcoming bundle of joy. Aren’t these photos great? A pregnant Reese is a beauteous one.

‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Releases A Secret Catwoman Poster

Earlier this week we got to see a whole slew of new promo posters for Batman: The Dark Knight Rises and today we get to see one more, previously unseen poster. An industrious fan noticed that one of the new TDKRposters had a QR Code on it and when activated, it lead to a secret Catwoman poster. It’s a simple poster but a striking one. Check it out in full below.

I kinda love this poster. The stiletto heel crushing Batman‘s batarang is a nice Catwoman image. As I’ve mentioned many times before, I am a HUGE Catwoman fan so I really, REALLY want to love the character in this new Batman film. I have my doubts and my worries but … I’m gonna have faith. This poster is a great way to promote the Catwoman character in the film. I just hope that actress Anne Hathaway can deliver.

340 Pound Woman Arrested After Shoplifting Bacon From Piggly Wiggly....Gotta Love the Irony

from VIEWS FROM A BROAD

WOW....ya think this bitch was a tad hungry?
Lonneshia-shafaye-appling
Meet Lonneshia Shafaye Appling.

The Georgia woman, 26, was so determined to shoplift beer, bacon, cheese, andchicken wings from a Piggly Wiggly that she punched, spit at, and pepper-sprayed store workers who confronted her as she tried to flee the supermarket Wednesday afternoon, according to cops.

Appling allegedly hid items worth $88.27 in a canvas bag. She “attempted to check out, only putting one item on the counter,” according to a worker quoted in an Athens-Clarke County Police Department report.

When a Piggly Wiggly employee–who had been tipped to the pilfering by a shopper–asked Appling about the concealed items, she tried to exit the store. After worker Jonathan Orr tried to stop Appling, she “pulled out some pepper spray and sprayed him in the face.”

Appling kept spraying as several workers tried to keep her from fleeing. The 340-pound Appling also allegedly punched Orr in the face and spit on the 28-year-old employee. As she successfully bolted from the Athens store, Appling “was dropping beer cans out of her purse.”
More here.

Gaga Forced To Cancel Indonesian Concert

Gaga1

There shall be no Born This Way Ball in Indonesia.
After clerics in Jakarta spent several weeks fuming and fretting over the social implications of allowing Lady Gaga, lover of sodomites and revealer of body parts, to perform in the world's largest Muslim country, Gaga's security team was so inundated with threats and portents that they forcibly canceled the concert.
From CNN:
The pop diva appeared to acknowledge [the situation] in a post on Twitter on Saturday: "There is nothing Holy about hatred."
Islamists and conservative Muslims have decried Lady Gaga's upcoming concert, saying her revealing costumes and sensual dance moves are forbidden by Islamic law.
The chairman of the Islamic Defenders Front, Habib Rizieq, said his group could not guarantee security if the concert were held.
Indonesia has the largest Muslim population in the world.
In March, the pop star got a thumbs-down by the country's highest Islamic authority, according to The Jakarta Globe.
Indonesian Council of Ulema chairman Cholil Ridwan was urging Muslims not to attend the controversial singer's upcoming concert in Jakarta, the newspaper reported.
"(The concert is) intended to destroy the nation's morality," Ridwan told the Globe.
I think Ridwan is correct: Lady Gaga probably did direct the Born This Way Ball toward Indonesia, in part, because she dislikes what passes for sexual morality there. What's mystifying is why Indonesian clerics, despite their vast power, would feel threatened by a 26-year-old pop singer from the Lower East Side. They've allegedly got God on their side, and righteousness, and culture and history and whatnot. With so much going for them, why should they become unmanned by a few pop tunes and a bit of latex?

Darren Criss Thanks Fans After Winning 2012 Broadway.com Audience Choice Award

Speech! Speech! Darren Criss Thanks Fans After Winning 2012 Broadway.com Audience Choice Award

One of the highlights of Darren Criss’ appearance at the 2012 Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards was his charming acceptance speech after winning the award for Best Replacement. In the midst of hosting the ceremony, Criss picked up a prize for his limited engagement as J. Pierrepont Finch in the Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Criss began by joking that his award was rigged (it wasn’t!), then warmly thanked the fans for their support. Enjoy his speech below, and click here for more scoop on Criss’ big night.

Darren Criss Sings, Jackie Hoffman Gets Racy & More Memorable Moments at the 2012 Broadway.com Awards

“I’m glad to see Broadway.com kept their end of the bargain, that’s good. Very reliable people, I take back everything I ever said about them. Well, gee thanks. Schucks, this is cool! I would be remiss not to thank Mr. Daniel Radcliffe for giving me shoes to replace in the first place ,and to Craig [Zadan] and Neil [Meron] over there, who were crazy to let that kid from Glee do a show for three weeks, which is absolutely unheard of, and a producer’s nightmare, but you did it and let me do it and we ended up doing pretty ok, so thank you for that opportunity.

“I’m a huge, huge fan and I’m always on Broadway.com a lot looking up new shows. And I’ve always been a theater fan and a person that votes for things and blogs and gets really nerdy about the whole process. People are always asking me, ‘When is the next time you’re going to be on Broadway?’ and I say ‘Well, whenever they let me.’ So between the fan support and my love of Broadway, I hope it’s sometime very soon. And in the meantime, maybe one of the fans at home will get one of these for replacing me. Break a leg!”
